It is not a campaign, it is an attempt to find another medium for journalism and documentary photography. In these pictures you can see ordinary people hiding inside stations, trying to maintain their everyday life there. It is families living inside train carriages, children and pets playing on the platforms, older people who stay underground full-time because it is harder for them to move, and musicians organising a concert on one of the stations.

Collaboration of Next Station Ukraine and London Transport Museum. In 2024 we organised an exhibition “Echos of the Blitz” and combined current photographic work from Ukraine with historical images from the archives of the London Transport Museum, which show the Tube sheltering in London during German bombing raids in 1940-1941. The exhibition featured on Guardian and BBC.
